September 19 8:00 PM

When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are King over the flood
I will be still and know You are God.

One bit of praise is that Micah has not had any fever to speak of since we've moved to a regular room.  Maybe because he actually gets to sleep up here :D  I can't say that I've have been in perfect peace today, but it has certainly been much closer to it than yesterday.  One thing God was reminding me of today is the story of Mary at the tomb.  My mother-in-love says that the reason Mary did not recognize Jesus was because her eyes were so filled with tears that she couldn't see properly.  Lord help us each to see clearly what You have for us to do each day, no matter what other trials we are facing, let us know & do Your will.  I love you all, may the good Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon You and give you peace.

  3. I know it must be difficult to write the updates, but I am so blessed by your faithfulness. I know that I am supposed to be writing to encourage you. It is just a little backwards. I am being encouraged by you two. Both of you are so strong in the Lord. Your transparency is refreshing and encouraging. God is Good. God is faithful. I hope your faith is renewed daily. I am so glad that your small group is rallying around you. Let me know if there is anything Margaret and I can do for you.

  4. Hi Tina and Thomas, I could not go to bed until I read the blog. It's so amazing how we can set up a blog like this and keep friends and family informed. You are a very dear family and I love each one of you. It's so nice to have you as neighbors. I told our pastor we had a special pray request for our neighbors. God is working in many ways, maybe more than you realize. I am reminded of the book of Job and all he had to endure. A dear friend told me one time to let God handle things, he is the one up all night watching what all goes on. The whole world is in his hands, and we should not try and tinker with things. God is there for us during the storms and the sunny days. I have to work part of the day tomorrow, I assure you I will be praying for you to have peace. With love from your nighbors Larry & Judy Pratt.
