September 24 10:32 AM

I just went back to the bed and Micah was still looking pleased and I talked to him and he smiled with dimples more than once!

God is doing something, pray, Micah is crying.

  2. Tina and Thomas,

We are all praying so hard. We want Micah to be healed. Patience it the hardest when our children are involved. My favorite verse: "Be Still and know that I am God", Ps.46:10. Waiting has got to be the hardest part. I am praying for you both and for your sweet son. Our God is the God of circumstances, and you have bathed Micah in His love. You are wonderful parents. Thank you for keeping us updated. We are only a phone call away if you need anything.

  4. We Praise the Lord for these dimple smiles and his precious little tears! We are continually praying. Nathan said to tell Micah that he misses their long phone talks about Bionicles and telling jokes, he cannot wait till they can do it again.
    We love you,

  6. Tina and Thomas, God is GREAT!! It is good to read that Micah is smiling and that little by little improvement is manifested.

I just want to leave you some scriptures to believe and declare. Prayer is the powerful thing that God gave us and commanded we as children of Him do, but God gave us our tongue too, and with it, we speak life or death. In Proverbs 18:21 it also tells us that we indulge in what we speak. What you and your family speak in this situation will happen. All that is required is belief and what you say will appear. Jesus told us the same in Mark 11:23. I encourage you to speak to that mountain, speak to Micah what you want to happen, and not just what you want, but what WILL happen with God.Do not be swayed by what you see or what you feel, but what you know with God will happen. Confess the promise of God over Micah, don't just pray them and watch "Daddy God" move as He promised He would in Romans 8:28. God gave Abraham His kind of faith (Romans 4:17) to call those things that be not as though they were, to call nonexistent/dead things into life. So don't doubt, just know that it may look as if Micah's situation is permanent but God said look at it as temporary (2 Cor 4:18) for the things that are unseen are permanent and everlasting. What is everlasting here? Well...that Micah is healed (Isa 53:5), Micah is leaving the hospital, Micah is restored to the way he was but even better than what he was before this trial happened (Joel 2:25-27).

The Bivins Family loves you all and we are declaring and believing God in this moment that will end in GREAT pleasure. :)

  10. How PRECIOUS those dimples are!!!!!!!! God can reveal Himself in the grandest ways! May He continue to work His will through Micah's body.

The rest of your children were an absolute blessing for us last night. We sang what Daniel calls the "Hey, ho" song as Samuel played the music for us. All of your children are absolute blessings, and we enjoyed their visit. I offered to bring over some calculus, physics or chemistry homework for them while they were visiting Grandma & Grandpa, but Abigail was satisfied with having already completed chemistry! : ) Even your most shy children declined the offer for additional homework! Hmmmm. . . Now I know how to get them to talk! : )

We love you all, and we will continue to pray for God's complete healing of Micah. "To God be the glory. Great things he has done!"

  14. Praise God!

Tina, last night as I went to sleep and then this morning during my prayer time, I specifically asked God to give you at least one little miracle today; something that you would know was from Him. Isn't it just like God to give you several...several beautiful smiles! I'm so very happy for you! I pray for Micah and for your family all the time. Thank you for keeping us posted.

    Love, Chris Veteto

  16. With God "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE"!!!! Never underestimate God's miracle working power!!!! We are praising Him for the miracle He is working in Micah right now and for all the lives that will be touched. Many around you will come to realize that the Bible is not just a "story book" filled with "fables" but instead IT IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD!!! What Satan intended for evil, God will use to bring many into His kingdom through Micah, your family and especially the two of you. We love you, miss you, and are praying for a complete and miraculous recovery; one in which NO ONE can deny that GOD IS REAL, HE DOES LISTEN TO THOSE CRYING OUT TO HIM, AND HE DOES ANSWER PRAYERS!!!

    Love you guys,

    Sadia

  20. I started crying when I read that Micah smiled today. How amazingly wonderful!!! We pray every night for Micah's body to heal completely. May God continue to bless you with His miracles, heal your baby (I don't care how old they are. They're still our babies.) and refresh your bodies and souls!
    Rejoicing for you!

  22. I was about to sign off for the night when I realized I hadn't checked on Micah today. Not that I hadn't prayed for him, but I had not had the opportunity to check the blog. I'm so glad God reminded me to check. This is wonderfully amazing...just so like God... news! How many times had you said, Tina, that you wanted to see his smile. Our God is faithful. Last night at church, I was discussing with our 4th - 6th graders the 23rd Psalm. The first verse is such a comfort..."The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want". If the psalmist stopped there in that chapter, those words are all we need. Praising God with you and continuing to pray for a full recovery. Let us know if you need anything.

  23. Tina and Thomas, This was my devotional this morning and wanted to share. I am excited that Micah is responding some. GOD CAN AND WILL work a MIRACALE

POUR ALL OF YOUR ENERGY into trusting Me. It is through trust that you stay connected to Me, aware of My Presence. Every step on your life-journey can be a step of faith. Baby steps of trust are simple for you; you can take them with almost unconscious ease. Giant steps are another matter altogether: Leaping across chasms in semi-darkness, scaling cliffs of uncertainty, trudging through the valley of the shadow of death. These feats require sheer concentration, as well as utter commitment to Me.
Each of My children is a unique blend of temperament, giftedness, and life experiences. Something that is a baby step for you may be a giant step for another person, and vice versa. Only I know the difficulty or ease of each segment of your journey. Beware of trying to impress others by acting as if your giant steps are only baby ones. Do not judge others who hesitate, in trembling fear, before an act that would be easy for you. If each of My children would seek to please me above all else, fear of others’ judgments would vanish, as would attempts to impress others. Focus your attention on the path just ahead of you and on the ONE who never leaves your side. PSALM 23:4 MATTHEW 7: 1 – 2 PROVERBS 29:25 Sharon Sargent Pettit
