September 16 12:00 PM

Dear friends, once again I am overcome by your love for us as I sit in front of the computer reading all the comments.  Tony & Tina God gave those very verses to me last night in Mark.  The other verses were in John 11 where Jesus said that Lazarus sickness was not unto death, but that the Lord would be glorified through it.  Then later in the chapter He says, "Father thank you that you have heard me for I know that you always hear me, but so those standing around me may see and believe..."  Then He called Lazarus forth from the grave.
Today has been hard, yet joyful at the same time.  We have had to be joyful through tears because as I said before I believe that God has shown me the outcome of this from the beginning of this, but it does not make the process any easier.  There are things that we have been expecting to hear since we got here from the doctors and today we heard them.  And they have placed us right where we need to be.  In one of the top 5 children's hospitals in the nation full of all kinds of specialists and yet they have admitted that they can do nothing, they don't know how to make a brain repair itself, but we serve the one who designed and created the brain.  It was difficult to hear even though we knew they would eventually say it.  So now we stand back and watch what our God will do.  He has been with us every step of the way and he will not forsake us.  He has been holding us and speaking to us.  Please do not sit and cry for us rise up and praise the One who made every cell in every body on earth.  We are singing with the angels in Micah's room please sing with us.  I know that God has work for him to yet do.  There is no sickness that He can't save us from, He is enough.
The Lord bless each of you.

  1. This is my Father's World,
    oh let me never forget,
that though the wrong seems oft so strong,
    God is the Ruler yet.

    This is my Father's World,
why should my heart be sad,
    The Lord is King,
    let the Heavens ring,
God reigns, let the earth be glad.

Still praying for a complete recovery,
    much love,

  2. Your strength through Micah's trials and your blog postings have given me so much strength to get through what we are facing in our family! Tracy was diagnosed with bladder cancer on Monday, he will be undergoing surgery on Thursday morning, and I find myself questioning "why". Then I read your postings about Micah and it just lifts me up!!! Praise God for you and your faith, you will never know how much I have needed to hear the things that you have had to say. Your faith and daily walk with God is amazing! I pray that God gives me the strength to face what we are facing, and I pray for your family and especially Micah, God is the Great Physician! Take care! Rita Appel (Winkle)

  5. "I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
    Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
In Your book were written, every one of them,
The days that were formed for me,
When as yet there were none of them."

"... He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, and He will bind us up." Hos. 6:1

We believe in a sovereign God who is perfect in His goodness. He has experienced our suffering in His own body not because He was randomly born into a broken world, but by choice. And He has triumphed. As you and your family profess confidently your faith and cling to His grace, you make a mockery of all that the world expects and that God's enemy wants.

Know that there are thousands of prayers rising up for you and Micah. May the peace of Christ fill you and pour out upon everyone there with you.

  12. Casting down imaginations and everything that would exalt itself above the glory of God.

You shall rise up on the wings of eagles; you shall run and not faint; you shall walk and not be weary.

By his stripes, we are healed.

The Lord works all things together for good for those who love Him and keep his commandments.

I will not leave you nor forsake you.

Praying these other scriptures over you and Tina and Micah. We love you and are lifting you up before our Lord. In Jesus Name.

  13. Jesus loves Micah, this I know
For the Bible tells me so
    Little ones to Him belong
They are weak, but HE is strong.
    Yes Jesus loves Micah
    Yes Jesus loves Micah
    Yes Jesus loves Micah
    The Bible tells me so.

Thank you God for what You are doing in Micah's life. To YOU be all the glory, honor and praise. Keep his parents healthy and strong. Guide the physicians. Use modern medicine as you see fit to heal Micah. You, God, are the great physician and Micah is in your wonderful, caring hands. We pray that You are glorified throughout this ordeal. In Your precious Son's name we pray. Amen

    Love you all. Lottie

    You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

We love you, we sing with you, we pray for and with you.

  15. T.V. and Tina, Gail and I have added you to our daily prayer list and want to remind you of God's soverignity and His total control. Charles Stanley gave me a paragraph several years ago that I've kept close to my heart and I want to share it with you.

Perhaps one of the most significant ways that we place our full trust in Christ is by praising Him regardless of the circumstances. Praise shouts our faith in God. It exalts Him and declares that we will follow him and look to Him even when the odds appear against us. As we praise God, we magnify the majesty and greatness of our Father...praise drives away fear and builds faith.

We value our friendship going back to Clara Miller and Woodland Baptist Church and rejoice in the faith you're displaying in these trying times.

    Maranatha,
    Tom and Gail Mapes

  16. This is what the LORD says:
"Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength...
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD...
"Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed... for you are the one I praise."
    (from Jeremiah 17:5-14)

We are praying for Micah - we are praying our LORD, the Great Physician and Miracle Maker, will bring full restoration and healing to this precious child. We know our God, who knit him together, can make him whole again. This accident did not surprise our LORD - we trust in His plan. We praise our God!

Thank you for sharing your hearts. We love you all!
